As we conclude another successful school year, there are many thanks to give, beginning with Mrs. Callie Meiller, our principal, and all our teachers and staff for a wonderful year of learning and growing closer to Jesus. Thank you to the school parents for sharing and entrusting their children to us this year.
Thanks to all our prayer partners for covering our school with continuous prayer this year. Your support and heartfelt prayers are a true blessing! And thank you, parishioners, for your support of our wonderful school!
We extend sincere thanks to staff members who are moving on from IHM School. We will miss you! Congratulations to Sister Sue Keim and Rachel Hellen on their retirements. We are grateful for their years of service and dedication. Thank you to Meg Arts, Lesley Goff, Andrea Monroy and Rebekah Scaperlanda for the impact they’ve made in their time with us. We wish them well in their next chapters. Rebekah Scaperlanda, Middle School Religion Teacher and Director of Discipleship, would like to share this note:
After eight wonderful years working at IHM School & Parish, I’ll be moving back to Oklahoma City this summer. While I’m excited to be closer to my family (my parents, three siblings, and 14 nieces and nephews!), it is bittersweet to leave a community that I love so much and has truly felt like home.
Stella Maris is genuinely a second home to me, and I will carry the memories and friendships made here with me always. I have loved walking alongside middle schoolers and high schoolers as they grow into young adults, and as anyone who has worked with middle schoolers knows, they’ve kept me on my toes and young at heart (and maybe a little tired, too)! I’m so grateful to the families and friends who have welcomed me in like family and made me feel so at home here.
I wish I could say goodbye to each of you personally, but please know how deeply thankful I am for this time here. I will miss this place and all of you so much, and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Please keep me in your prayers as I take this next step and know that I’ll be keeping you in mine.

Parish Trustee Election
The election of civil parish trustees is this weekend. All parishioners are encouraged to vote online for two parish trustees at stellamarisparish.org/trustee-election or by using the paper ballots available in the back of church.

75th Anniversary of IHM Church
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and the original shrine of Our Lady of the Green Scapular. We will commemorate this occasion on Saturday, June 28, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, at 9:00am Holy Mass at IHM. Custom-made 10-inch replica statues of Our Lady of the Green Scapular will be sold for $75 each (payment by cash or check) following this Mass, as well as after Sunday Masses at IHM on June 29.
Summer Adoration and Vespers
On Wednesdays and continuing through July, there will be Adoration and Vespers at IHM every Wednesday from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Exposition will take place at 6:30pm with Vespers beginning at 7:00pm.
Volunteers Needed-Seven Sisters Apostolate
Stella Maris’ Seven Sisters Apostolate is looking for a few more women to volunteer to pray for our pastorate’s priests. This would be a commitment to dedicate one hour a week on a designated day to pray for one of our priests for a period of one year beginning July 1.
