TO THE FAITHFUL OF STELLA MARIS PASTORATE,
As we approach summer, we’re excited to share a couple of upcoming events for celebration, community, and faith formation across our pastorate.
On Friday, June 7, join us for the Vigil of Pentecost at 5:00pm at Christ the King, followed by a Fiery Tongues bonfire. Inspired by the tongues of flame that descended on the disciples, this evening offers a way to celebrate Pentecost, gathering around a fire and enjoying each other’s company. Bring lawn chairs, yard games, and/or musical instruments. Please bring your own food and drinks. Tailgate cooking is welcome. For questions, contact ben@reblconrad.net
We’re also hosting Vacation Bible School (VBS) June 23–27 at Immaculate Heart of Mary School! This year’s theme is “Cool Kingdom Party: Mary Leads Us Closer to Jesus.” VBS is open to all children entering 4K–6th grade this fall. Sessions will run from 9:00am to Noon (Mon–Thurs) and 9:00am to 1:30pm on Friday, with a special family Mass at 11:30am and picnic celebration to close out the week.
Volunteers age 12+ (VIRTUS-trained adults especially) are needed. Volunteers receive free childcare, and their children attend VBS at no cost. Click here to register your child or to volunteer.

Trustee Election
We will be holding an election for new parish trustees. The parish civil corporation includes two lay parishioners - known as Trustees - along with the Diocesan Bishop, Vicar General and Pastor. The term of each position is two years, which may be renewable. We currently have two nominated candidates. Any active parishioner over the age of 21 who would like to add their name to the ballot should contact our office by May 18 to discuss other qualifications.
