TO THE FAITHFUL OF OUR PASTORATE,
Last week, IHM School celebrated Catholic Schools Week, a fun-filled time for students and staff. The week began on Sunday with Holy Mass and an Open House. Highlights included a pep rally, ski trip, and special activities on Monday; a Spelling Bee, World Mission Rosary, and all-school Bingo with special guest caller Mike Hegge on Tuesday; and bowling and a service project on Wednesday. Thursday featured Holy Mass, Bible trivia, service projects, and a talent show. Friday wrapped up with the 8th grade vs. staff volleyball game, a cereal box domino event collecting 422 boxes to donate, and a school dance.
Thank you to our principal, Callie Meiller, as well as our staff and volunteers, and all who contribute their time, talent, and resources to support IHM Catholic School. May God continue to bless our mission to go and make disciples of all nations.
We also extend our appreciation to Sue Mabie, one of our pastorate secretaries, who will be retiring at the end of February. We are deeply grateful for Sue’s ministry at St. Patrick, which began in September 2019, and her many efforts in bringing together Stella Maris Pastorate. Her last day will be February 28. Please join us in thanking Sue for her service to the Lord and His Church and in wishing her a happy retirement. We will honor her after Mass at hospitality on March 2 at St. Patrick.
